May 20, 2013 - Site Updates and a Teaser: INKY Cup Series Announcement Coming Soon
It’s been an amazing year of racing thus far. So much action that we’ve had trouble keeping the results links updated. But they are up now, current through Winona Lake last weekend. Speaking of Winona Lake, Alan Alderfer showed amazing character on Sunday with the special presentation to the young woman who was injured at the Winona crit a few years ago. His actions reflect the kind of cycling community we are in Indiana and Kentucky. Several new events have been added to the schedule; please take a look. There is a Carmel Crit on June 1, and a Gran Fondo on August 17. In fact, this will be the first Gran Fondo in Indiana. It represents a chance for riders (not just racers) at many levels to participate in an amazing party. Registration is open! The INKY board is very close to announcing the details of the INKY Cup Series. Races already completed this year WILL COUNT, and we’ll be announcing the date of the banquet in a few days. Stay tuned.
