July 15, 2014 - Indiana/Kentucky Cycling Association announces Cyclocross Camp in Indianapolis, IN
Cyclocross Worldcup medalist and National Cyclo-cross Champion Katie Compton will lead a day long cyclo-cross camp, August 23rd, in Indianapolis at Paul Ruster Park. This is the first in a series of development camps the IN/KY Cycling Association is hosting to help new and aspiring riders learn the skills needed to become future champions. The camp will cover basic cyclocross skills every rider needs to know in order to successfully and safely negotiate a cyclocross course: 1) rules 2) group dynamics 3) dismounting/remounting 4) free laps Cyclocross racing is experiencing explosive growth in the U.S., drawing large fields in this area. Even experienced riders will come away smoother and faster. Cost: $25.00 Registration: TrueSport.com. Space is limited to 40 riders.
